The Company was informed on 11 November 2005 that the Torex Foundation, a
registered charity of which Christopher Moore (a director and the Executive
Chairman of the Company) and his wife are shareholders and directors, has
purchased a total of 135,830 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') at
an average price of £1.088 between 4 November 2005 and 11 November 2005.
Following this purchase, Mr Moore is interested in 11,757,355 Ordinary Shares
representing 3.60 per cent. of the current total issued ordinary share capital
of the Company of 326,506,691 Ordinary Shares.
