The Company was informed on 4 March 2004 by ISIS Asset Management plc ('ISIS')
that it is interested in 18,592,575 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company
('Ordinary Shares'), representing 12.33 per cent. of the Company's current total
issued ordinary share capital of 150,743,163 Ordinary Shares.

The above holding includes the material interest of FPCP Stewardship, a client
of ISIS, who hold 5,211,737 Ordinary Shares representing 3.45 per cent. of the
Company's current total issued ordinary share capital. These share are held
under the register name HSBC GS Nominees Ltd.
