The Company was informed on 18 November 2004 by Schroder Investment Management
Limited ('Schroder') that it is interested in 21,843,671 ordinary shares of 1p
each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), representing 13.03 per cent. of the
Company's current total issued ordinary share capital of 167,630,844 Ordinary
Shares.

The above holding includes 17,193,671 Ordinary Shares held by Schroder Unit
Trusts Limited, an affiliated company of Schroder, held under the registered
name Chase Nominees Limited. The remaining 4,650,000 Ordinary Shares are held
