                    Results of Extraordinary General Meeting

The Board of Torex Retail Plc ('Torex Retail') announces that, at the
Extraordinary General Meeting of Torex Retail held today, the resolution
proposed to enable Torex Retail to implement the offer made by UBS Investment
Bank on behalf of Torex Retail for Anker Plc was unanimously approved by
shareholders.
