The issuer advises that the following replaces the 'Statement re Share Price
Movement' announcement released today, 24 July 2001, at 16:45, under RNS
number 4263H.  The last paragraph of the announcement has changed to 'The
funding strategy has been finalised with the assistance of the Company's
financial advisers and a further announcement will be issued shortly' instead
of 'This process is continuing with the assistance of the Company's financial
advisers and a further announcement will be issued once the Company's future
funding strategy is finalised'.

NETCENTRIC SYSTEMS plc (the 'company')



At the time of the announcement of the Company's interim results on 29 June
2001 the Company stated that, in addition to raising sufficient working
capital through trading operations and the sale of the group's investment
properties, the Company was planning additional funding through a placing and
open offer, or by other appropriate means.  The funding strategy has been
finalised with the assistance of the Company's financial advisers and a
further announcement will be issued shortly.
