                        Topps Tiles Plc (the 'Company')

                                 Block Listing

Application has been made by the Company to the UK Listing Authority of the
Financial Services Authority, and to the London Stock Exchange plc for the block
listing of 5,733,295 ordinary shares of 2.5p each ('Ordinary Shares') fully
paid, ranking pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

It is expected that, 1,332,125 Ordinary Shares will be allotted and issued in
due course pursuant to the rules of the  Topps Tiles plc approved Executive
Share Option Scheme, 3,077,860 Ordinary Shares will be allotted and issued in
due  course pursuant to the rules of the Topps Tiles plc Unapproved Executive
Share Option Scheme and 1,323,310 Ordinary  Shares will be allotted and issued
in due course pursuant to the rules of the Topps Tiles plc sharesave schemes.
