                      ANNOUNCES DATE OF INTERIM RESULTS


Topps Tiles Plc, the UK's largest ceramic tile retailer, will be announcing
interim results for the six months ended 2nd December 2000, on Tuesday the
16th January, 2001.



An analyst presentation will be held on the day at SG Securities, Exchange
House, Primrose Street, London, EC2A 2DD at 9.30am.
