                        Southampton Leisure Holdings plc

Southampton FC has today agreed terms for the transfer of the player Gareth Bale
to Tottenham Hotspur FC for a transfer fee of up to £10 million comprising an
immediate payment of £5 million and further conditional payments up to a total
additional consideration of £5 million.
