Transaction in Own Shares
Further to the announcement made on 15 April 2004 concerning the facility set up
for shareholders in the Company holding 2,500 ordinary shares or less ('Small
Shareholders') to be able to dispose of their shares in the Company at nil cost
('Nil Cost Dealing Facility'), the Company announces that since 14 April 2004,
Small Shareholders have tendered a further 115,403 ordinary shares under the
Company's nil cost dealing facility prior to the second dealing date of 21 April
2004 and the Company has bought for cancellation 115,403 ordinary shares at
21.5p per share.
Following this transaction, there are 101,718,792 ordinary shares in issue.
