Transaction in own shares/TVR

The Company announces that, following the dealing date of 22 May 2008 pursuant to the facility set up for shareholders in the Company holding 6,500 ordinary shares or less ('Small Shareholders') to be able to dispose of their shares in the Company at nil cost ('Nil Cost Dealing Facility'), and pursuant to the Company's general authority to buy its own shares, the Company has bought back for cancellation 5,956 ordinary shares at 131.5p per share.

Following this transaction, there are 93,115,653 ordinary shares and 58,306 preference shares in issue.  The preference shares do not carry voting rights therefore for the purposes of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules the total number of voting rights in the Company is 93,115,653.

The above total voting figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or change to their interest in, Tottenham Hotspur PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
