Notice Concerning Amendments to the Business Performance Prospects
Based on the movements of our recent business performance, we hereby make
amendments to the business performance prospects of Kanto Auto Works, Ltd.
disclosed upon the announcement of the financial statements on May 15, 2001 as
follows:
1. Amendments to the prospective figures of non-consolidated interim business
performance of Fiscal Year 2002 ending March 31, 2002 (from April 1, 2001 to
September 30, 2001)

3. Reasons for the Amendments
The figures of non-consolidated interim business performance prospects,
including net sales, ordinary income and interim net income, are expected to
increase as a result of increase in the production of automobiles, etc.
The figures of consolidated interim business performance prospects, including
net sales, ordinary income and interim net income, are expected to increase
as a result of the above reason for the increase in the figures of non-
consolidated interim business performance prospects.
