                         Compliance with the Model Code

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1R TR Property Investment Trust plc today
announces that all inside information which the Directors and the Company had in
periods leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to
a RIS and accordingly the Company need not comply with the provisions of the
close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's Ordinary
and Sigma shares during the period to the announcement of the half-yearly
results.

The close period commenced on 01 October and is expected to end with the
publication of the Interim figures on 21 November 2007.
