Hugh Seaborn, Chairman of TR Property Investment Trust plc, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah-Jane Curtis as a non-executive Director of the Board with immediate effect.

 

Sarah-Jane brings a wealth of experience in the London property sector, and particularly in retail. Sarah-Jane is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Currently, Sarah-Jane is a Property Director of Bicester Motion as well as a consultant to Value Retail PLC, where she was previously Business Director. Before this, Sarah-Jane was  a Director at Covent Garden for Capital and Counties PLC. She has also worked for Grosvenor for 24 years.

 

Hugh Seaborn, Chairman, said "I am delighted to welcome Sarah-Jane as a non-executive Director of TR Property.  Sarah-Jane is hugely well-respected in London real estate and brings her extensive knowledge of the retail sector to further strengthen the Board."

 

The Company also announced that Hugh Seaborn has notified the Board of his intention to stand down as Director and Chairman of TR Property at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting in July 2020. He will be succeeded as Chairman by David Watson, currently Senior Independent Director and a Director since 2012. Simon Marrison, a Director of the Company since 2011, will succeed David as the Senior Independent Director at the same time.
