TR  Property Investment Trust PLC are pleased to announce  the
appointment of Richard Stone to the Board with effect  from  1
November  2000.   He will also join the Board of  Trust  Union
Finance  (1991) PLC, a wholly owned subsidiary, from the  same
date.

Richard  Stone is retiring as a member of the Global Board  of
PricewaterhouseCoopers on 30 September  2000.   Prior  to  the
merger  in 1998, he was Deputy Chairman of Coopers &  Lybrand,
UK  and  Chairman  of  the firm's European  Corporate  Finance
activities.
