             Annual General Meeting held on
                  Thursday 20 July 2000


TR  Property Investment Trust PLC announces that  at  the
Annual  General  Meeting  held  earlier  today  all   the
resolutions, as set out in full in the notice of  meeting
dated  8  June  2000,  were  duly  passed.   One  of  the
resolutions gave authority to the Company to make  market
purchases  of  up  to 68,110,500 ordinary  shares  (being
14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 31 March 2000).
