Directorate changes
Tracsis, a leading provider of software, hardware and services for the rail, traffic data and wider transport industries, announces that its Chief Financial Officer Max Cawthra has informed the Board of his intention to stand down from his position in early 2021.
The Board is pleased to announce the proposed appointment of Andrew Kelly ('Andy'), 43, who it is intended will join the Group on February 1st, 2021 as Chief Financial Officer.
Andy is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is currently Vice President Finance & IT, of Vitec Production Solutions, a Division of The Vitec Group plc and was previously Group Financial Controller. Prior to joining Vitec, Andy worked for Anglo American plc, Carphone Warehouse plc, and trained with Deloitte LLP.
Max will remain with the business for a period of time after Andy's appointment in order to facilitate a smooth transition and handover process.
The Board would like to place on record its thanks for the contribution Max has made since joining Tracsis in 2010, since when the Group has grown significantly, both organically and by acquisition, which Max has played a key part in achieving.
The Board believes that Andy is a very strong replacement and will be well positioned to work alongside Chris Barnes, Chief Executive Officer, to take the Group forwards and deliver its strategic objectives. Andy has a broad range of financial experience achieved across a range of industries, and has the skillset and aptitude to take Tracsis to the next level.
