Equest Investments Balkans Ltd ('EIB' or the 'Company'), the specialist investment company focused on retail and financial services, infrastructure and property development in South Eastern Europe, today announces the retirement of Mr. James Ede-Golightly from the Board of the Company as of 17 October 2008 due to other commitments. 

Commenting, John Carrington, Non-executive Chairman of EIB, said:

'James has been a valuable Non-executive Director since May 2007. We should like to thank him for all his efforts and support and wish him every success in the future. The Board intends to appoint a new Non-executive Director in due course, whose experience will also benefit the new focus as an internally managed holding company.'
