Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified that Mr Andrew Simon O.B.E,
a Non-Executive Director of the Company, today purchased 500 ordinary shares of
10p each in the Company at a price of 1588p per share. As a result of this
transaction, Mr Simon has a beneficial interest in 1,000 shares in the Company
representing less then one per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
