Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') was notified yesterday that Mr Andrew Pike,
Company Secretary and a member of the Company's Executive Committee, purchased
350 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 1449.7p per share
on 29th October 2007. On the same day his wife also purchased 350 ordinary
shares of 10 each in the company at a price of 1449.7p per share.


As a result, Mr Pike now has a beneficial interest in 4,084 ordinary shares of
10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.1% of the issued share
capital.
