Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified that Mr Geoff Cooper, a
Director of the Company, yesterday purchased 4,000 ordinary shares of 10p each
in the Company at a price of 1756p per share. As a result, Mr Cooper now has a
beneficial interest in 21,310 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company,
