Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') was yesterday notified that Ian Goldsmith, a
member of the Company's Executive Committee, yesterday exercised options over
18,311 ordinary shares of 10p each in the company ('shares'). 3,089 shares were
exercised at an option price of 1071.5p and 15,222 shares were exercised at an
option price of 1067.5p. He retained 3,027 shares and sold 15,284 shares at a
price of 1491.4779p.  As a result, Mr Goldsmith now has a beneficial interest in
4,317 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.01%
of the issued share capital.
