Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified that the wife of Mr Geoff
Cooper, a Director of Travis Perkins plc, yesterday purchased 5,000 ordinary
shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 1515p per share. As a result, Mr
Cooper now has a beneficial interest in 10,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in
the Company, representing less than 0.01% of the issued share capital.



The Company was notified today that the wife of Mr Paul Hampden Smith, a
Director of the Company, purchased 15,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
Company at a price of 1501p. As a result, Mr. Hampden Smith now has a beneficial
interest in 21,785 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing less
than 0.01% of the issued share capital.
