Director/PDMR Shareholding

Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') was notified yesterday that a trust of which Mr Paul Hampden Smith, a Director of the Company, is a trustee, purchased 2,369 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 522p per share on 30th June 2009. The beneficiaries of the trust are Mr Hampden Smiths' minor children.

The Company was also notified yesterday that Mrs Hampden Smith, the wife of Mr Paul Hampden Smith, purchased on 30th June 2009, 8,341ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 539p per share. 

As a result, Mr Hampden Smith now has a beneficial interest in 175,781ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.01% of the issued share capital.
