                            Director's Shareholding



Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') was notified on Friday 1st December 2006 that
Mr J.P.Carter, a Director of Travis Perkins plc, exercised options over 854
ordinary shares of 10p each in the company ('shares') at an option price of
£10.79 per share.



As a result, Mr Carter now has a beneficial interest in 15,042 ordinary shares
of 10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.1% of the issued share
capital.
