Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified that Mr. Peter Maydon, a
Non-Executive Director of the Company, yesterday purchased 2,000 ordinary shares
of 10p each in the Company at a price of 1295p per share. As a result of this
transaction, Mr. Maydon has a beneficial interest in 3,000 shares in the Company
representing less then one per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
