Directors Shareholding
The Company was today informed that Travis Perkins Quest Trustees Limited, a
wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, as trustee of the Travis Perkins
Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust (the 'QUEST') had on 29 January 2002
transferred 211 ordinary shares in the Company to employees in satisfaction of
the exercise of options under the Company's savings related share option scheme.
The QUEST now holds 127,407 ordinary shares in the Company. As potential
beneficiaries under the QUEST, each executive director of the Company is treated
as being interested in all of the shares held by the QUEST. The directors of the
Company who may be considered to be potential beneficiaries of the shares in
this notification are:
