Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified that Mr Geoff Cooper, a
Director of Travis Perkins plc, yesterday purchased 5,000 ordinary shares of 10p
each in the Company at a price of 1722.5p per share. As a result, Mr Cooper now
has a beneficial interest in 5,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company,
