The Board of Travis Perkins plc has today been informed that the 1957 Travis
Discretionary Trust, of which Mr E R A Travis is a potential beneficiary,
disposed of the beneficial interest in 1,125,700 Ordinary Shares in the Company
on 18th and 19th August 2006. As a consequence of this transaction, Mr Travis'
interest in the Ordinary Shares of the Company is as follows:
