The Board of Travis Perkins plc received notification on 30 June 2005 from Aviva
plc that following the sale of 60,000 shares on 29 June 2005 Morley Fund
Management Limited (a subsidiary of Aviva plc) has a material interest in
4,870,362 shares, representing 3.98 per cent of the Travis Perkins issued share
capital.
The shares are registered in the names of BNY Norwich Union Nominees Ltd
(1,431,301 shares held), Chase GA Group Nominees Ltd (2,025,492 shares held)
CUIM Nominee Ltd (1,231,869 shares held), Chase Nominees Ltd (101,700 shares
held) and Vidacos Nominees Ltd (80,000 shares held).
