                    Notice of Trading Statement & Site Visit


Travis Perkins PLC confirms that it will be making its Interim pre-close Trading
Statement at 7.00am on Monday, 4 July 2005.


Travis Perkins will also be hosting a briefing and site visit for investors and
analysts on Tuesday, 5 July 2005. The visit will include the Travis Perkins
builders' merchant at Rainham, Essex, a Wickes store at Barking, Essex and the
CCF unit in East London.
