Purchase of Treatt Plc shares by the Treatt Employee Benefit Trust
On 24th August 2007 the Treatt Employee Benefit Trust ('Treatt EBT') purchased
50,000 Treatt ordinary shares at 313p. These purchases and the resultant holding
represent 2.93% of Treatt's ordinary share capital.
The shares held by the Treatt EBT are held for the beneficiaries who include,
inter alia, directors and employees of Treatt and its subsidiaries. Therefore,
the directors, being potential beneficiaries of the Treatt EBT, are interested
in all the Treatt shares acquired by the Treat EBT and not allocated, The
directors concerned are Hugo William Bovill, Anita Jane Haines and Richard
Andrew Hope.
