Director and Company Secretary Change

Further to the announcement made by Treatt PLC on 27 July 2012, Hugo Bovill, Managing Director, has been removed from the Board with effect from 14 August 2012, in accordance with the Company's Articles of Association.

It is confirmed that Daemmon Reeve is appointed Group CEO, with responsibility for Treatt Plc and all Group subsidiaries.  Daemmon will be assisted by the Board and the established leadership teams and will continue to reside in the USA, although a proportion of his time will be spent in the UK. Daemmon has extensive industry experience and knowledge, having been employed at R.C. Treatt & Co. Limited, the Group's principal operating subsidiary, for 19 years. During that time he gained widespread experience in Technical, Operational, Sales and Purchasing disciplines. Daemmon was appointed CEO of Treatt USA in July 2010 and has overseen two successful years which have seen growth in the underlying strength of the business.

Additionally, as Governance requirements continue to grow Anita Steer, Group Legal Counsel, has been appointed as Company Secretary with effect from today, a role previously carried out by Richard Hope, Group Finance Director.  Anita was called to the Bar in 1994, is a qualified Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is due to complete a Masters degree in Commercial Law in August 2012.
