Tribal Group plc
AGM statement
Tribal Group plc ('Tribal' or the 'Group'), a leading provider of consultancy, support and delivery services to the UK public sector, holds its Annual General Meeting at 9.00am today.
As we announced in our Interim Management Statement on 30 April, trading since the start of the year has been encouraging. We therefore continue to expect our profit before tax and earnings per share for the first six months of the year to be significantly ahead of the corresponding period last year.
The healthy level of contract wins since the start of the year has continued and our order book and pipeline remain strong. We have recently been appointed as architectural design lead and health services consultant for HealthVision Swansea, a £300m Welsh Assembly project to redevelop hospital and community services.
Tribal also leads a consortium that has been appointed by the Quality Improvement Agency as the preferred bidder to take forward new initiatives aimed at improving teaching quality in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This three-year contract is worth over £3m in the first year.
Cash flow in the first five months has been strong.
We are confident that we will deliver a good performance in the second half of the year.
