Tribal announces collaboration with US-based Consilience International to deliver new research management software for universities, and initial deployment at the University of Warwick

Tribal Group plc ("Tribal"), a leading provider of technology products and services to the education, learning and training markets in the UK and internationally, has extended its technology portfolio to include university research support software.

Tribal has entered into a collaborative relationship with Consilience International to provide its Ideate™ software system to universities in the UK.  Ideate™ offers university research departments an integrated application to manage key areas of research and support provision. Combined with Tribal's leading position as a provider of student management systems to universities in the UK and overseas, the partnership will provide a significant enhancement to the management of university research departments.

The first joint implementation of Ideate™ will be delivered for the University of Warwick, one of the UK's leading research universities.  

Peter Hedges, Director of Research Support Services at the University of Warwick commented: "We are excited about the implementation of Ideate which we believe offers considerable scope to support a step change improvement in our core business processes and to drive cost and efficiency savings in the work of Research Support Services. The University is extending an existing partner relationship with Tribal as supplier of our student management software and looks forward to a successful implementation and roll-out."
