Tribal Group plc (the 'Company') received notification on 19 December 2005, that
on 16 December 2005, Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') acquired 121,210 5p
ordinary shares in the Company, and Caledonia now holds 6,466,710 5p ordinary
shares in the Company. This represents 8.07% of the issued share capital of the
Company.

The Company has also been notified by Caledonia that pursuant to section 203 of
the Companies Act 1985, The Cayzer Trust Company Limited, a substantial
shareholder in Caledonia, is also deemed to be interested in these shares.
