Tribal signs Memorandum of Understanding with UK Government
Tribal Group plc ("Tribal" or "the Company"), a leading provider of public sector services in the UK and internationally, today announced that it has reached an agreement to assist the UK Government in delivering efficiency savings.
As well as helping to deliver savings, the agreement forms part of a wider, more co-ordinated approach by government to procuring services to generate greater efficiencies in government spending. All of Tribal's current projects and contracts will remain in place and continue to be delivered as planned and the agreement will not materially affect the Company's financial performance.
Peter Martin, CEO of Tribal, said:
"We have had a series of constructive discussions with the Government about how Tribal can make efficiency savings across a number of existing contracts and services.
"The agreement marks an important step for Tribal, as it demonstrates our commitment to work closely with government in supporting improvements in the quality and efficiency of essential public services."
