Tribal wins £4.4 million e-learning contract
Further to the announcement made by RM plc earlier today, Tribal Group plc is
pleased to announce the award, through its subsidiary Tribal Technology
Services, of a £4.4 million contract over 3.5 years to supply e-learning
services to the South Yorkshire e-Learning Programme as part of a consortium led
by RM plc.
The contract is part of a £34.4 million contract funded by the European Regional
Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Learning and Skills Council
and Yorkshire Forward.
Commenting on the award, Henry Pitman, Chief Executive of Tribal Group plc, said
'We are delighted to be a key partner in this landmark project which intends to
establish South Yorkshire as a centre for e-learning excellence. This contract
represents another milestone in our strategy to develop Tribal Technology
Services as a major e-learning and systems development provider to the education
and wider public sector.'
