                              Directorate Changes


The Board of Trifast plc announce, with immediate effect, the following changes
to its Board:



  • The appointment of Anthony Allen as a Non-Executive Director

Anthony Allen, aged 53, retired as a Director of Investment Banking in the City
on 31 December 2002. He brings to the Group extensive corporate experience
gained through his 35 year career with N M Rothschild & Son Limited. Anthony is
also a Non-Executive Director at Mersey Docks and Harbour Company PLC, a
position he has held since August 1996.



  • The retirement of John Budgen as a Non-Executive Director

John Budgen joined the Board of Trifast in 1993 prior to the Group's LSE
listing. On behalf of the Company, the Directors would like to thank John for
his contribution and wish him well in the future.



As previously announced at the Group's interim results in November, John Wilson
retired as Group Finance Director on 31 December 2002, however, with effect from
1 January 2003, he has taken up the role as a Non-Executive Director at Trifast.
John, aged 54, has been with the Group since 1978, and joined the Board in 1985
- he has been a key player within the development of Trifast's business and his
continuing contribution to the Group's development will be invaluable.



John Wilson has been succeeded by Stuart Lawson who joined the Board and took up
the role of Group Finance Director from 1 January 2003. Stuart has been with the
Group since 1995 having previously been employed by KPMG. For the last six
years, he held the positions of Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary
for Trifast plc, Finance Director of the Group's European subsidiaries and more
recently Managing Director of the Scandinavian operations.



In relation to Anthony Allen and Stuart Lawson, other than the above, there is
no information which should require disclosure under paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to
6.F.2 (g) and paragraphs 16.4 and 16.5 of The Listing Rules of the UK Listing
Authority.
