Non-Executive Director Appointment
Trifast plc ('Trifast' or ''the Company') announces the appointment to the Board with immediate effect, of Neil Chapman as Senior Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee.
Neil Chapman BA, FCA (aged 53) built his career with international accounting firm, KPMG. He joined KPMG in 1976, qualifying as an FCA in 1990 from when he took up the role as Audit and Investigations Partner. In 2002, he was also appointed Senior Partner of KPMG's Gatwick operation, a multi-disciplinary office with over 200 partners and staff serving the South East region - a position he held until his retirement from the Firm in 2005.
Over a 30-year career, Neil has gained extensive experience working with both UK and international small to mid-market corporates operating across a variety of sectors including technology, commercial and industrial products, software, retail and distribution. He has also worked on projects overseas in Continental Europe, Australia, The Far East and the Americas. His specialist knowledge covers audit, advising on flotations, mergers & acquisitions, disposals and regulatory obligations.
Over the last three years since leaving KPMG, Neil has continued to work with a number of companies assisting them with their audit requirements as well as their acquisition & transaction strategy. Currently, his other roles include Group Finance Director of Endeavour Holdings Limited and Financial Adviser to The Disabilities Trust.
