Changes to the Board of Directors

The Board of Troy Income & Growth Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David Garman as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 19 January 2016.

After graduating from London University in 1973, David spent 20 years with United Biscuits before joining the Board of Associated British Foods as Chief Executive of Allied Bakeries in 1993. In 1999 he was appointed Chief Executive of TDG plc until its sale to a financial purchaser in 2008.

David is currently a non-executive Director of John Menzies plc and several private companies. He has also held non-executive directorships of Phoenix IT Group plc, Victoria plc, St Modwen Properties plc, Kewill plc and Carillion plc within the last five years.

There is no further information required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment. 

In addition to this appointment, as previously announced, Kevin Hart has retired from the Board following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held today, 19 January 2016. Kevin had been a non-executive Director of the Company since May 2003.
