GLASGOW INCOME TRUST PLC APPOINTS NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This announcement is to replace the announcement made at 3.23 p.m (RNS Number
4141H) which contained a wrong surname below for Mr Griffiths.

Mr Martin Andrew Griffiths was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Glasgow
Income Trust plc with effect from 8 November 2007.

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13R(1) Mr Griffiths is currently Director of
