The Board of Troy Income & Growth Trust plc announces that Martin Griffiths, a non-executive Director of the Company since November 2007 has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.

Ronnie Hanna, Chairman of Troy Income & Growth Trust plc, said "Martin joined us at an important time in the Trust's business. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank him for his significant contribution to shaping our strategy and for his wise counsel throughout."

Martin Griffiths remains an executive director of Stagecoach Group plc.
