GLASGOW INCOME TRUST PLC

 
The Board of Glasgow Income Trust plc has declared a second interim dividend
of 0.625p per share (1999 - 0.625p per share) in respect of the year to 30
September 2000 payable on 31 August to shareholders on the register at close
of business on 4 August 2000. The total dividends declared to date amount to
1.25p per share (1999 1.25p per share).
