The Company announces that, on 14 October 2010, 1,247,250 Ordinary shares of 25 pence each held in treasury were issued for cash at a price of 49 pence per share.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

113,195,432 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

8,747,085 Ordinary shares held in treasury

121,942,517 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
