TT electronics PLC
18 May 2005
AGM STATEMENT
All resolutions before the Annual General Meeting of TT electronics plc were
duly passed.
Speaking at the meeting, John Newman, Executive Chairman of TT electronics,
commented on current trading:
'TT electronics has experienced a less buoyant start to this year compared with
2004 with sales slightly lower, due to the slowdown in the automotive markets.
'Since the announcement of the annual results, we have successfully sold our AEI
Cables' Gravesend site for considerably more than its book value. The
acquisition in March this year of Dage Limited will also benefit the future of
TT electronics. With its Chinese manufacturing facility, it will provide the
platform for our expansion in China.'
