TT electronics plc appoints Stephen King as independent non-executive director
TT electronics plc, a leader in sensor and electronic component technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen King as an independent non-executive director with effect from 24 October 2011. Stephen will serve on TT electronics' Audit and Nominations Committees and will succeed David Crowther as Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee at the conclusion of the 2012 Annual General Meeting.
Stephen (aged 51) is a non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at the Weir Group plc and a non-executive director of Bristow Group Inc. He is currently Finance Director of Caledonia Investments plc and was previously Finance Director of De La Rue plc and of Midlands Electricity plc.

TT electronics plc confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to this appointment.
