                   £5 Million Disposal of F.D. Sims Limited


As part of its disposal programme of non-core businesses, TT Group PLC
announces the sale of the business of F.D. Sims Limited, a magnet wire
manufacturer to IRCE-SpA, an Italian manufacturer of magnet wire and special
cables for expected cash proceeds of slightly in excess of £5 million.

John W Newman Executive Chairman of TT Group commented:

' We are continuing to make progress with our disposal programme. TT Group has
focused this year on its core electronic and electrical businesses. This
policy has been very successful to date and we are experiencing a much
increased current order book.'
