Appointment of Anne Drinkwater as a Non-executive Director
25 July 2012 - Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anne Drinkwater as a Non-executive Director with effect from today.
Anne joins Tullow after a long and successful career with BP. Anne held a number of senior business and operations positions, most recently as President and CEO of BP Canada from 2009 to 2012. Other positions within BP included Group Vice President managing non-technical risk, President of BP Indonesia and Managing Director of BP Norway.
Anne has a strong commercial and business development background from within the oil & gas sector and brings significant expertise in governance and stakeholder management to Tullow. Anne is currently a Non-executive Director of engineering company, Aker Solutions ASA in Norway.
There are no further disclosures required under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UKLA and 6.6.7 of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange in respect of Anne Drinkwater to those disclosed above.
