RE: BROCHURE OF PARTICULARS




Tullow Oil plc has approved the issue of a total of 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares
of 10p each for use as a block listing in respect of future exercises of
options under the Company's Share Option Scheme.


Application will be made to the UK Listing Authority, London and Irish Stock
Exchanges to have the Shares admitted to the Official Lists in Dublin and
London.

The Shares will rank pari passu with all existing fully paid 10p Ordinary
Shares of the Company.
