A block listing application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the Irish Stock Exchange for a total of 3,000,000 Ordinary Shares of nominal value GB£0.10 each, in the capital of Tullow Oil plc, to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange, and application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be admitted to trading.  These shares will be allotted from time to time following the vesting of share awards made under the Tullow Oil 2005 Performance Share Plan.
